Dividing the fully equipped kitchen and the dining room is a custom built cherry wood wine – storage cabinet and granite serving counter. Capable of storing over 48 bottles and their associated glassware is an important feature to any lover of wine. Additionally, just past the cherry wine divider is an under counter, Sub-Zero wine chiller capable of maintaining whites and reds at their optimum temperatures.

An nine-foot granite Island dominates the center of the kitchen. Cherry cabinets store a full array of cooking, serving and the necessary consuming tools fit for the most aggressive of gourmands. A gas equipped Viking range; Sub-Zero refrigerator – freezer and two ASKO dishwashers are also supplied. A second oven and microwave with separate food warmer complete the preparing and consuming components of the kitchen. A convenient trash compactor and recyclable bins close at hand make the kitchen complete. Space for three observers, seated comfortably in custom made Steven Swift stools, is facilitated at one end of the Island without crowding the chief.
All counters and back-splashes are granite.

The kitchen, with post and beams throughout, supports the owner’s collection of antique cooking and gardening items from all over the world. The floor is an earth toned slate tile floor (heated in winter) covering the kitchen, breakfast -niche, pantry and laundry.

A well-stocked pantry is a must when for this kitchen and this pantry comes fully stocked with the normal sundries.
